Wonderful Group of Companies, along with its subsidiaries—Wonderful Industry Company Ltd, Marcopolo Tiles Company Ltd, Mupika Sericulture & Silk Farm Zambia , United Capital Fertilizer LTD and Boffar Machinery and Equipment Limited—has united to make a significant donation to the Ministry of Health, supporting the fight against cholera.
As a collective, we want to emphasize that our companies have been actively engaged during this challenging period for both your ministry and the nation.
We’ve maintained continuous communication with the Ministry of Health team and, in response, have actively sought ways to contribute meaningfully to mitigate this scourge.
In alignment with the ministry’s urgent requirements, we’ve procured the following items at a total cost of two million, one hundred and eighty-three thousand Kwacha (K2,283,000):
- 100,000 250ml chlorine bottles
- 100,000 sachets of ORS
- 500 complete rain suits
- 500 complete washing buckets and stands
We hope that this contribution will go a long way in providing relief, and we encourage other companies to join hands and support the country during these challenging times.
