United Capital Fertilizer (UCF) took part in the 118th Annual Congress of the Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) as the main sponsor. This meeting was held at Mulungushi International Conference Center in Lusaka, Zambia. The annual congress brought together farmers from all parts of the country and was held under the theme “Innovative Solutions for a Climate-Resilient Agriculture Sector”
His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema who was speaking at the congress encouraged farmers to embrace and promote out grower scheme models that would enhance productivity and help in knowledge sharing across the different agriculture sectors. He also urged farmers to embrace innovation and irrigation technology because food insecurity is national insecurity.
