On Thursday, we officially launched the Wonderful Group Industrial Park, right here in Lusaka West, a landmark moment witnessed and officiated by the President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.

With an investment pledge of US$5 billion over the next 7 years, this Industrial Park is set to create over 25,000 additional direct jobs and become a beacon of innovation, production, and inclusive growth for Zambia and beyond.

To set the tone, we signed the Urea Plant Phase Two Expansion valued at USD 1.4 billion, which will deliver:

• 500,000 mtpa Ammonia

• 800,000 mtpa Urea

• 300MW of additional power

• Plus, a range of industrial-use byproducts

The Wonderful Group Industrial Park will power Zambia’s industrial transformation and also empower our youth with real-world skills, unlock new value chains, and provide thousands of opportunities across agriculture, energy, construction, and beyond.

This is only the beginning.
