Wonderful Group was proud to be part of the vibrant celebrations leading up to the Ncwala Traditional Ceremony 2026 in Chipata.

Chipata came alive with energy and pride during the Nc’wala Carnival held at the Chipata Golf Club. The atmosphere was filled with colour, culture, and a strong sense of unity, reflecting the deep heritage of the Ngoni people.

Ahead of the main ceremony, Wonderful Group paid a courtesy call on Paramount Chief Mpezeni. The delegation, led by Board Chairman Mr. Gilbert Themba and Director Mr. Mbambiko, presented gifts on behalf of the Group, including Fertilizer Yapa Zed from United Capital Fertilizer LTD. This gesture symbolized our continued support for community development and the agricultural livelihoods that sustain many households.

The celebrations were further graced by Hakainde Hichilema, whose presence underscored the national importance of the Nc’wala Traditional Ceremony as a symbol of unity, identity, and cultural pride.
