Wonderful Group officially broke ground for the rehabilitation of the Kafue and Kabwe roundabouts and the development of a traffic median along Cairo Road in Lusaka.
This initiative goes beyond simple infrastructure upgrades. It reflects our commitment to contributing to a city that is organised, safe, and reflective of Zambia’s growth and progress. Cities are shaped by the spaces we invest in, and by transforming these strategic points, we aim to enhance road safety, strengthen urban identity, and contribute to a capital city that inspires confidence for residents, investors, and visitors alike.
Representing us at the groundbreaking ceremony were our group chief executive officer, Mr. Huang Yaochi, deputy chief executive officer, Mr. Roy C. Mwamba, chief operating officer, Mr. Frank Mulenga, and Mr. James Wang representing Boffar Machinery & Equipment LTD. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Lusaka City Council and the honourable minister of local government and rural development for their partnership and collaboration on this important project.
Construction has officially commenced, starting with the Kabwe roundabout. The project will be executed by the Boffar Machinery & Equipment LTD team, who will oversee all works as we move into the next phase of development.
Wonderful Group looks forward to sharing updates as this important transformation unfolds, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to building a Lusaka that works for everyone. Let the building begin!
